The safety of the individuals we serve, staff members, visitors, and community members is of the utmost importance at Salisbury Management and all the companies we serve. The Certified Safety Committee is responsible for conducting regular and as needed reviews of environmental and safety issues, as well as making recommendations to management for environmental and safety improvements.
Ensuring safety for everyone requires vigilance, monitoring, and testing of equipment, conditions, and procedures on a regular basis. It also requires safety awareness of staff and the individuals we serve. We recognize that regular and as needed reviews of environmental and safety issues are critical to safety enhancement.
The Certified Safety Committee is comprised of at least one member from each corporate division supported by Salisbury Management.
The Certified Safety Committee is certified through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
Employee Recognition Program
Through our Employee Recognition Program, we reward our employees for taking safety seriously and making safety suggestions. Employees are encouraged to help us achieve our goals through a variety of wellness related activities, reaching employee achievements, as well as by improving safety and quality.
Employees who participate are rewarded through a point based system. Points can be earned in a number of ways such as: completing an annual health risk assessment; completing years of service; participating in wellness activities; submitting ideas for quality improvement; and/or submitting safety suggestions.
